Kiwi Produce was established in 1986 as a specialist kiwifruit packhouse, prepacker and distributor.

After more than 14 extensions, today we are one of the country’s most innovative and successful packhouses, packing over 2 million tray equivalents of locally grown fruit a year and employing 60 staff at the peak of the season.

Today, we have 6 fully monitored coolstores on the same site as our packhouse, which boasts the latest sophisticated methods and machinery for grading, sorting, labelling and packing.

A big part of our growth has been our team’s ability to handle a diverse range of produce, work closely with our regular customers and invest in new packhouse equipment and technology.

Over the past three years, Kiwi Produce has developed a range of new kiwifruit products, including Kiwilicious Dried Kiwifruit and Kiwilicious IQF (Individually Quick Frozen) Kiwifruit.

At the 2016 Te Puke Business Awards, Kiwi Produce took out the Zespri Agricultural/Horticultural/Industrial Award and the overall Supreme Business Award. Our team are very proud to have won both these awards. This is our second win in the Zespri Ag/Hort/Industrial catergory and our first winning the Supreme Award. We have a hard working, reliable team at Kiwi Produce, that have made this win possible and two of the best people to lead the team in Geoff and Nicky.
